Who's behind Mademoiselle Croisette ?
The brand of children’s fashions, Mademoiselle Croisette, was created by Karen Albertelli.
After graduating from business school, Karen started her career in Paris in the marketing department of Estée Lauder Group.
She soon began to miss the sun of the French Riviera and decided to join the family-run business in Cannes, specialized in the sale of prestigious sailing yachts, where she was able to employ all her talents in the marketing department.
After taking a few years break and three children later, Karen Albertelli was ready to take on a new challenge and decided to create her own brand of fashions for little girls, combining the famous Liberty fabrics with a romantic touch, two themes close to her heart.
Karen always loved sewing, first for herself and then for her children, and in order to acquire the professional techniques in sewing and fashion design she studied at the renowned fashion school of Aline Buffet in Cannes.
Mademoiselle Croisette offers fashions of timeless design, combining romantic-style clothes in colourful prints with quality finishings, using top quality fabrics, mainly the superb Liberty flower prints.
The production 100% Made in France is an evidence for Karen and results from her choice of ethics, transparency and quality. Her models are produced in her Mademoiselle Croisette's workshop in Cannes.
Why choose to have the majority of her collection made from Liberty fabrics ?
Simply because Karen fell in love with these romantic flower prints.
The finely woven Liberty fabrics are extremely light and have an almost silk-like touch and are very comfortable to wear and easy to iron.
Liberty cotton has all the qualities !
And what better setting could she have chosen than Cannes, the city of her heart, to present her creations ?
